About Me
Hello and welcome to Whiskers Pet Care Services. My name is Liz and I live in Four Marks with my husband and children. Our family also includes 2 dogs and a new puppy, 2 cats, chickens, 2 rabbits, and a tortoise.
I hold a Diploma in Dog Psychology and am currently studying for a Level 4 Accredited Canine Behavioural Diploma from the British College of Canine Studies.
I have been caring for the pets of Four Marks and surrounding areas since 2004. I offer a friendly, reliable and professional service that takes the worry away from booking holidays and being away from home. My holiday cat and small animal feeding service enables your pets to be expertly and lovingly cared for in the familiar surroundings of their home.
Cats, more than most other pets, dislike any change in their routine or environment and many find the experience of a cattery stressful. My service offers an economical but top rate alternative which lets your cats remain in their own home, able to come and go as they please, or just sleep in their favourite spot, with of course added fuss and cuddles!
If your pet needs regular medication I am happy to administer this, I am also experienced at caring for diabetic cats and giving insulin injections.
As well as visiting your pets I also provide the essential service of making your house look lived in whilst you are away. Picking up post, wheeling bins out and back in, small amounts of watering, switching lights on and closing and opening curtains if required are all included in the price. I do not have any sign writing on my vehicle so as not to draw attention to the fact that your home may not be occupied.
Regular updates by text will reassure you that all is well with your pet and home, leaving you free to enjoy your holiday.
I am also a qualified dog behaviourist and trainer and use positive reward-based training and behaviour modification. I can help owners work with their dogs to resolve any training or behavioural issues which perhaps are causing embarrassment and are spoiling the enjoyment that should come with owning a dog.
